Before you consult an astrologer

  • How to choose an astrologer

A step-by-step way to find a good astrologer: tradition, training, how they work, what they charge, and a short test before you commit.

  • Questions to ask an astrologer

Good questions for a reading, grouped by topic (career, marriage and love, money, health, children, education), and how to phrase them so the answer is useful.

  • Astrologer consultation fees

How astrologers price their time (per minute, per question, per session, per report), what pushes the price up, and how to compare offers fairly.

  • What to expect in an astrology reading

What happens before, during and after a consultation, how long it takes, how to prepare your questions and what a good session leaves you with.

  • Birth details an astrologer needs

Date, time and place of birth: why each one matters, how exact the time must be, where to find it, and what an astrologer can do when the time is unknown.

  • Fake astrologer warning signs

The tactics behind astrology scams (fear, urgency, costly pujas, gemstone pressure, requests for bank details or photos) and what to do if you have been cheated.

  • Online astrology consultations

Whether an online reading can be as accurate as one in person, how chat, phone and video sessions differ, and how to get the most from each.

  • Kundli matching consultations

Whether kundli matching is necessary for marriage, what an astrologer looks at beyond the guna score, and how families can use a matching session well.
